OUR STORY

The journey that became One Family Media Group began long before the name existed. It started during my time in the U.S. Navy when I discovered a love for storytelling. My first performance was a “Sanford and Son” skit at a Navy base theater, followed by a stage play called Ain’t No Sunshine. That’s when I realized creativity came naturally to me. It wasn’t work. It was purpose.

While serving, I found myself drawn to media, performing, and connecting with people across different ships and roles. But even with all that activity, something still felt missing. After leaving the Navy, I tried to return to the workforce, but the traditional path didn’t fit. I wanted to build something meaningful that reflected who I was and what I stood for.

As technology evolved, I saw both opportunity and decline. Communities were becoming disconnected, and truth was losing its place in public conversation. Media outlets began catering to opinions instead of facts. I have always believed that truth matters, real truth, not personal versions of it. That belief became the foundation of my mission to create platforms rooted in honesty, community, and connection.

I failed many times trying to build that vision, but every failure became a lesson. Eventually, I stopped stretching myself thin for others and focused on growing what I could control. That is when One Family Media Group, LLC was born in June 2019 and officially registered in June 2020.

Since then, the company has faced challenges, but every one of them has made us stronger. One Family Media Group stands as a reflection of perseverance, purpose, and passion, a commitment to bringing truth, creativity, and value back to the people.
